How to get the PCB quotation

Obtaining a quotation for your PCB manufacturing needs is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth and efficient experience:

1. Provide Detailed Specifications

To get an accurate PCB quotation, it is essential to provide us with detailed specifications of your PCB. This includes:

1) Material Requirements:

Specific materials such as FR-4, polyimide, or other specialized substrates.

2) Surface Finish:

Type of surface finish (HASL, ENIG, ENEPIG, etc.).

3) Copper Thickness:

0.5oz, 1oz, 2oz, etc.

4) Soldermask:

Green, Black, White, Red, Purple, etc.

5) Silkscreen:

Green, Black, White, Red, Purple, etc.

6) Quantity:

Number of PCBs you need.

2. Submit a Gerber File

A Gerber file is a standard file format used in the electronics industry to describe the printed circuit board images. It contains information about the copper layers, solder mask, silkscreen, and other layers. Ensure your Gerber file is complete and accurate before submitting it.

If you don't have Gerber and BOM files, you can send us the samples for clone, for information for PCB Clone, please find https://www.sevenpcb.com/PCB-Clone/

3. Contact Us

You can submit your PCB specifications and Gerber file through our website or contact our sales team directly. We will review your requirements and provide a detailed quotation within 1-3 business days.

4. Review and Confirm

Once you receive the quotation, review it carefully to ensure it meets your expectations. If you have any questions or need adjustments, feel free to contact us. Once you are satisfied, you can confirm the order, and we will proceed with the manufacturing process.

Our team is dedicated to providing you with a hassle-free quotation process, ensuring that you receive the best possible price for your PCB manufacturing needs.

What's the lead time for the manufacturing

Lead time is a critical factor in PCB manufacturing, and we understand the importance of timely delivery. Our lead times vary depending on the complexity and quantity of the PCBs. Here is a general guideline:

1. Standard Lead Time

For standard PCBs (single-sided, double-sided, and basic multi-layer), our standard lead time is typically 5 business days from the date of order confirmation. This includes the manufacturing process, quality inspection, and preparation for shipping.

2. Expedited Services

We also offer expedited services for clients who require faster turnaround times. For an additional fee, we can prioritize your order and deliver within 2 business days. This option is ideal for urgent projects or prototypes.

3. Complex PCBs

For more complex PCBs, such as HDI, rigid-flex, and high-layer count multi-layer boards, the lead time may be longer, typically ranging from 7 to 14 business days. This is due to the increased complexity and additional manufacturing steps required.

4. Quantity Considerations

The quantity of PCBs ordered also affects the lead time. Larger quantities may require more time to manufacture, but we strive to maintain the shortest possible lead times without compromising quality.

We will provide you with a specific lead time estimate upon order confirmation, ensuring that you are fully informed about the expected delivery date. Our commitment to timely delivery is unwavering, and we will keep you updated throughout the manufacturing process.

Quality Assurance

At HYH, we are committed to delivering the highest quality PCB products and services to our clients. Our dedication to excellence is backed by our robust Quality Assurance (QA) framework, which is certified under both ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. These certifications are a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality and reliability in everything we do.

Below is our ISO 9001 certification:

Quality is at the heart of everything we do. At HYH, we have a robust Quality Assurance (QA) process in place to ensure that every PCB we manufacture meets the highest standards of excellence. Here’s how we ensure quality at every step:

1. Raw Material Inspection

Our QA process begins with the inspection of raw materials. We source high-quality materials from trusted suppliers and conduct thorough inspections to ensure they meet our stringent standards. This includes checking for defects, verifying specifications, and ensuring proper documentation.

2. Manufacturing Process Control

Throughout the PCB manufacturing process, we implement strict quality control measures. Our state-of-the-art equipment is regularly calibrated and maintained to ensure precision and accuracy. Each step, from etching and drilling to plating and assembly, is carefully monitored to prevent any deviations from the specified requirements.

3. In-Process Inspections

We conduct in-process inspections at various stages of PCB production. This includes visual inspections, automated optical inspections (AOI), and electrical testing. These inspections help us identify and correct any issues early in the process, reducing the risk of defects in the final PCB product.

4. Final Inspection and Testing

Before a PCB is shipped, it undergoes a comprehensive final inspection and testing process. This includes:

1) Visual Inspection:

A thorough visual check for any visible defects or irregularities.

2) AOI:

Automated Optical Inspection to detect any issues with traces, vias, and solder joints.

3) Functional Testing:

Electrical testing to ensure the PCB meets the specified performance requirements.

4) Environmental Testing:

For certain applications, we conduct environmental testing to ensure the PCB can withstand conditions such as temperature extremes, humidity, and vibration.

5) Documentation and Traceability

We maintain detailed documentation of the entire manufacturing process, including material specifications, inspection results, and test data. This ensures traceability and allows us to quickly identify and address any issues that may arise.

6) Continuous Improvement

Our QA team is committed to continuous improvement. We regularly review our processes, analyze data, and implement changes to enhance quality and efficiency. We also stay updated with the latest industry standards and certifications to ensure our products meet or exceed global quality benchmarks.

At HYH, our ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications are more than just pieces of paper; they are a reflection of our commitment to quality and reliability. We take pride in delivering PCBs that meet the highest standards of excellence, ensuring that our clients can trust us to meet their most demanding requirements. Whether you need PCBs for medical devices or other critical applications, you can rely on HYH to deliver the quality you need.
